Puro Caff - 20 Ounce - Espresso Machine Cleaner

Pure Powder Espresso Machine Detergent, 20oz Jar/ 566g is a product designed for use on espresso machines. To use it for backflushing the group head, you need to insert a blind filter in the portafilter and add up to 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) of the pure powder. Then, insert the portafilter into the group head, activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds, and repeat this process 5 times. After that, insert the portafilter into the group head and repeat the step without the Puro powder 5 times.

For soaking the filters and metal of the portafilter, you need to use 1 teaspoon (6 g) of the pure powder per 32 oz. (1 L) of hot water and soak them for 30 minutes. Afterward, rinse them with clean hot water.

When using the product on coffee brewers, you need to sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon (3g) of the pure powder per 64 oz. (2L) of brewer capacity directly into the brew basket. Run a full brew cycle into each vessel and hold for 30 minutes. Finally, empty each vessel and rinse all parts with clean hot water.

Additionally, you can use a wet cloth with the pure powder solution to wipe down the spray heads and then wipe them clean. However, be cautious as the solution may be very hot.

The Puro Espresso Machine Cleaning Powder is designed to eliminate residue and buildup in group heads, keeping screens and filters clear for an even brewing extraction.
